Writing Music: Thriving Ivory

Just like last week I’ll be talking about a band that I listen to while I write: Thriving Ivory. You may or may not have heard of them. If you haven’t, I’d suggest you keep reading (if you like rock music). Thriving Ivory is one of my favourite bands, their songs are beautiful to listen to, whether you’re really listening to the lyrics or not. I’ve found quite a lot of songs that are relatable to my characters, which is very inspirational for me.

Just like last time, I’ll put together a top ten (I’m not even going to try to put together a top five). Again, in no particular order.

Angels On The Moon

Flowers For A Ghost

Where We Belong

Cobwebs

Come November

Hey Lady

Kiss The Rain

Love Alone

Unhappy

On Your Side

I hope you liked Thriving Ivory and found some new (inspiring) music to listen to while writing! I’ll be going to Macedonia soon. I (probably) won’t blog while there, but I will queue some posts.

Next time: Christina Perri
