The Book Awards 2015

What are The Book Awards?

The Book Awards are like the Oscars or any other award show, but for books! This coming month you will be able to nominate books, characters, etc. Those with the most nominations (so if you’ve noticed that you’re favourite book has already been nominated, do nominate again!) will go to the next round: the voting. The voting will go on for a longer time period, for how long I’m not sure yet. During this period I will (with the help of possible guest bloggers) promote all the nominees and tell you why you should vote for them. By the end of it all, the winners will be announced! There may or may not be any challenges along the way, I’m not too sure yet, but it does seem like a fun idea.

How does it work?

In this post I will list all the categories and in the comments you will be able to tell me which book, author, character, etc. should be nominated. Like I said before, do nominate something that has already been nominated, as those with the most nominations will go on to the next round. You can nominate more than one book etc. for a category of course! But you are only able to nominate once (what I mean is that you can’t for example nominate Harry Potter twice- unless you’re nominating both the book and the character).

Can I write a guest post?

Of course! After the nomination period is over, I will list all the nominees and tell you guys more about the guest blogging bit.

If you have any more questions, let me know in the comments!

And if I forgot a category that you think is a must, let me know! Now get nominating! :D Also, share this post with your fellow bookworms! Tweet it, reblog it, pin it, mail it… Let’s make this a fun event for book lovers around the world :)
