Music Monday: Crush Your Enemies

Music Monday is a bi-weekly link-up hosted by Bridget from Stay and Watch the Stars. You may remember that last week I said I was going to make two playlists, well here’s number two! If you want to check out my previous Crush playlist, click here.

Warriors – Imagine Dragons

Here we are, don’t turn away now. We are the warriors who build this town.

In Which I Kick Harry Potter in the Face – Draco and the Malfoys

I’m gonna kick you in the face. I might do it 27 times just in case. I know nothing could ever replace, the picture in my mind of your kicked in face.

Ready, Aim, Fire – Imagine Dragons

With our backs to the wall, the darkness will fall. We never quite thought we could lose it all. Ready, aim, fire, ready, aim, fire.

Bad Blood – Taylor Swift

‘Cause baby now we’ve got bad blood. You know it used to be mad love. So take a look at what you’ve done. ‘Cause baby now we’ve got bad blood.

Bleeding Out – Imagine Dragons

I’m bleeding out. So if it the last thing that I do, is bring you down. I’ll bleed out for you.

Hunt You Down – Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls

You can run on for a long time. Run on for a long time. Run on for a long time, but sooner or later I’m a-hunt you down. But on or later I’m a-hunt you down.

Radioactive – Imagine Dragons

I raise my flag, dye my clothes. It’s a revolution I suppose. We’re painted red, to fit right in.

Spells and Scars – Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls

Boy you’ve got some nerve to think you’ve got a chance, to take down the master with his infinite, power and conviction to our noble cause. So you’ll need more than spells and scares.

Rotten to the Core – Descendants

Mirror on mirror on the wall, who’s the baddest of them all? Welcome to my wicked world.

This is War – 30 Seconds to Mars

It’s the moment of truth and the moment to lie. The moment to live and the moment to die. The moment to fight, the moment to fight. To fight, to fight, to fight.

Battle Cry – Imagine Dragons

Nobody can save me now. The only sound is the battle cry. The battle cry. The battle cry. Nobody can save me now. It’s do or die.

Can you tell I love Imagine Dragons? And remember when I said that this playlist might be my first one without Disney? Yeah, I lied. Rotten to the Core couldn’t be left out. If one day I form an evil squad, I want this to be my theme song. Am I the only one who finds it kind of funny that I put Bleeding Out after Bad Blood? Anyway! If you made a playlist, share it with me in the comments! I’d love to check yours out. Also, any Imagine Dragons fans out there?

  1. I love that this playlist is full of Imagine Dragons :). I understand why you have to put Disney songs in all of your playlist. Disney songs are always the best. However I still have to watch that movie. I don’t even know when it’s going to premiere in Portugal

    • When I think ‘Crush Your Enemies’ I think Imagine Dragons :D They have such great songs for epic (fantasy) battles!
Right? It’s just impossible to leave Disney songs out.
You should definitely watch it! It’s really good and fun <3 I watched it online, though I don't remember the website, you could google it? :)

  2. I LOVE IMAGINE DRAGONS SO MUCH! Their songs definitely fit this theme, their songs are just so epic, such as warriors. Whenever I listen to that song I get the urge to write an epic fantasy story with an intense battle scene. And putting Bleeding Out after Bad Blood? Hehe, classic! xoxo

  3. You can never love Imagine Dragons too much! I nearly went to see them live, but I didn’t know them well enough at the time so I thought I wouldn’t appreciate it as much. Now I’m kicking myself, because I freaking love them!

  4. I’m so glad you put Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls on this playlist! I love listening to them. I don’t know if you’ve heard “Lupin’s Tale” or “Oh Ginny,” but those to are so sad they make me want to cry. In a good way. Anyway, the whole playlist is really good!

  5. IMAGINE DRAGONS YAY :) Also, I love the Bad Blood music video. I was flailing throughout the whole thing because feminism and girl power and T. McSwizzle fighting :P Awesome playlist!

  6. I am loving the Potter songs! Most people are like “Ahhh Imagine Dragons” but I’m just happy a fellow Potterhead is sticking some of my favorite songs in here ^^ These playlists are awesome! Keep it up! (You should make them in Spotify and link them for us Spotify users if you have time! That’d be really neat.)
