Sharing 7 Lines From the WIP

Back in 2015 I did the 777 Challenge. Though I wasn’t tagged in it this time, I thought I’d bring it back because 1) I barely talk about writing on here anymore and this blog needs to live up to its name and 2) it’s NaNoWriMo so what better time than to share some lines!

In this challenge you have to share seven lines from the seventh page of (one of) your WIP(s) and then tag 7 bloggers. This year I’m working on the same contemporary novel as last year, as school got in the way and I never got around to working on it. I really hope that this year I’ll be able to finish it. Fingers crossed!

Wow I forgot that the reason it’s called 777 challenge because you have to share seven lines from theΒ seventh page of your WIP. I just chose some lines Β I liked woops haha. While I would’ve liked to share that snippet, I’m going to stick to the rules so here are seven lines from theΒ seventh page:

I don’t know about you but besides the Drew one this list is really me. Then again Yong Sun, the protagonist,Β is a lot like me.

I tag:

MayΒ | Kat | Eve | Charlotte | Holly | Marie | YOU!

If I tagged you don’t feel obligated to do this!

Are you participating in Camp NaNo? How’s it going? If you’re not participating, how’s the writing going anyway? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Haha I relate so much to your lines, I hate presentations and group work is the worst. I always get stuck with people who I don’t like working with. What is your novel about? (beside presentations :P)

    • Haha yep same here :P Ahh I have a lot of trouble explaining it to people without spoiling it too much πŸ˜‚ I wrote this on Camp NaNo though: Friendship, banter, food, karaoke, The Gayβ„’, Dora the Explorer Discourse (I’m not even joking I really hope people will find this very very long scene as hilarious as I do lmao) Hopefully I’ll be able to explain/summarise it better once I finish it πŸ˜‚

  2. Thanks for tagging me! I am not doing Camp NaNo, but I am working on my writing right now. I finally have the time to really dive into it and give it my undivided attention :) I am already looking forward to posting the next chapter online. I hope you’ll share more about your WIP in the future!
